Re: New Arsenal Saiga SGL10-01 Rifles
I hope you got one of these :553:
They are remarkable rifles. I can see the differences that the Legion custom shop introduced. The ones I have seen don't produce the distinct neck swelling in spent cartridges that typical Izshmash x39s do. the Arsenal link is now updated to state: Limited Production Out of Stock Discontinued Now they have the sgl-20 which is the same rifle already converted to the pistol grip configuration. I believe they took the few sgl-10s they had left and converted them to capitalize on the "new" model. Arsenal caught alot of flack on the forums for not offering the rifle already converted. Unfortunately the sgl-20 is more expensive and doesn't include the $100 Arsenal brake. Its rumored that Arsenal and RAA disputed the import rights and Arsenal won't be getting any more Legions. Atlantic Firearms has them on their website and they had some in stock a couple of weeks ago. The price is high but you get a case, 30rd mag and collapsible pg stock. I'm not schilling Atlantic Firearms but besides gunbroker, AF is the only place I know of that has had them in stock since November. TAD if you could score an sgl I am sure you will be very happy. Here are some gunbroker auctions: Unconverted sgl-10 Converted sgl-10 sgl-20 Oh and here is a link to the $63 K-Var PG conversion kit for the sgl-10 |
